Gone Book Review

Hey, there! It's Kittiesandbooks27, here! Today I will be reviewing Gone by Michael Grant.

   

  I love this book! I feel Michael Grant created a wonderful story with dynamic characters and an interesting plot. As for the negative aspects of the book, I felt there were way too many POV's (Point-of-views). At most, I feel that a book should have 3 POV's. Gone had 4 or 5.  I also thought there was a good amount of pages in this novel. It was long, but it wasn't drawn-out. It's perfect for those rainy afternoons. Overall, I give Gone a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Shiver Book Review

Hey! It's Kittiesandbooks27, here! Today I will be reviewing the book Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater.
 Typically I don't read books that involve werewolves (or dogs of any kind),  but I loved this book! It also has a beautiful cover, which I love about this novel. Actually, Bridled0704 found this book at our school library, and the synopsis intrigued me. All in all, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the creativity of it's plot and because I fell in love with the characters.

Can't Look Away Book Review

Hey guys it's me Bookobsessed02! Tonight I will be reviewing the book "Cant' Look Away" by Donna Cooner!

This book was very interesting, lets put it that way. I would rate this book a 4 out 5 because it wasn't really my type. First off, it was so sad! It was more of a romance-y heart-breaking kind of book. It also had a Halloween type twist to it. Surprisingly, even though it wasn't my type, I really liked it! If you have read the "Fault In Our Stars" and like romance-y/sad books than chances are you would like this book.

The Apprentices Review

Hello, there!!!! It's Kittiesandbooks27 here!!!!!! Today I will be reviewing The Apprentices  by Maile Meloy. This is the book after The Apothecary So let's get started!


     Overall, I give The Apprentices 5 out of 5 stars. I really liked it!!!! Let me just say, I stayed up 'til 1 a.m. to try and finish it. I hope you know how much it drains me to not give you any spoiler alerts. If you loved The Apothecary as much as I did, I highly recommend The Apprentices. I almost cried at the end!!

The Maze Runner Dual Review

Hey, there!!!!! It's the Critique Quartet!!!! (All four of us) Today we will be reviewing both The Maze Runner by James Dashner, and it's new movie.

Book

Overall, we give this dystopian future novel a 3.75 average. It was pretty predictable, especially if you read Allegiant by Veronica Roth. Also, the title gave the book away. On the contrary, it was action-packed and suspenseful. If you were a fan of The Hunger Games or Divergent, this is the book for you. Below is our individual star ratings for this book:

Movie

This movie was such a letdown. They filmed things that did not even pertain to The Maze Runner!!!!!! Some of the scenes were changed or even flipped around. We think the directors and producers should have cut out what didn't happen, and add things that did happen, with lots of detail.Some minor details were changed, and they weren't necessary. I MEAN COME ON PEOPLE, AT LEAST GET THAT RIGHT!!! The movie was good if you didn't read the book first, but we did.... Overall, we give this movie 2.25 out of 5 stars.

Hey it`s me, the horse lover. The twins out of triplets, RunandRead73 and Bookobsessed02 were born only about 12 hours before me! I was born on Independence Day. My favorite color is, stormy blue. My favorite books of all time consist of Fever 1793, The Selection Series, The Little Women, The Scorpio Races, The Maze Runner Series, Black Beauty, The Canterwood Crest series and basically any dystopian future, horse books, and classics, like Scarlet Letter and The Secret Garden.
I love horses and I actually ride them! My pet peeves are how people treat their books. If you bend back the covers or even open the book too much I will turn into a mad ball of fury and probably explode (I am serious, I will knock you down to keep you from hurting my book!)! I don`t let anyone borrow my precious! Once someone returned a book with the pages bent and torn and it was still damp. I forced them to buy me a new copy of Black Beauty! I treat my books like they are real and have feelings. I pet my books... It is not weird don`t look at me like that!

I know it's late, but I just wanted to introduce myself. There's four of us, I'm RunandRead73! Anyway, it's pretty obvious that we all like books, but all four of us are unique. Here's a little bit about me.

• I like sports especially track and volleyball!(I don't understand why some people don't like to run, it's so refreshing and calm.)

Introduction to the World of ESR Books

Hey everybody! This is EAT.SLEEP.READ here! This organization actually consists of four girls(screen names): Bridled0704, Kittiesandbooks27, Bookobsessed02, and RunandRead73. On this blog, we will be reviewing books that we read. Below is some of are favorite genres:

• Bridled0704`s favorite genre is dystopian future but she also reads all fiction. She reads classics and historical fiction books.
• Kittiesandbooks27's favorite genre is hands down dystopian future with corrupt societies that exhibit a loss of humanity, such as The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Divergent by Veronica Roth (my favorite!) and The Maze Runner by James Dashner. These are all very predictable, but I love them all the same.
• Bookobsessed's favorite genre is...well I don't know. I like most kinds of books as long as they are not boring. I am not very fond of non-fiction. I like books full of action, suspense, and mystery. I mostly read realistic fiction.
• RunandRead73's favorite genre has to be action(or is that even a thing?). Well, I like books with a lot of action and mystery.
